Of Records! and Music

So I got some cool vinyl records from my brother for my birthday to add to my collection.  The night before I went to see Sufjan Stevens and got his new album on vinyl.  I love listening to vinyl.  I now play my vinyl records in my classroom with an old Califone record player that was last repaired in 1995.  (I found it in our library storage) I guess that was not too long ago.  I was in 5th grade.  I love it.  Exposing my students to music the way it should be heard, with depth and feeling.  MP3s compress the music so much, a record brings back the rich tones.  I love it.  I danced around my classroom the other day when I put my first record on the player.  Such awesomeness!!!
