Book of the Month

So it has been a while since I last wrote about my book of the month.  I finished my September book a little late and picked a really easy book for October.  For September I read Farewell My Lovely by Raymond Chandler.  It was a little hard to get into but really liked the ending, which I will not spoil for those of you who might read it sometime.  Then for October I read Tim Gunn's new book Gunn's Golden Rules: Life's Little Lessons for Making It Work.  It was really good.  It was cool to have an insight into his life.  I have a lot of respect for him.  He talked a lot about how we need to show more respect in this world.  I agree with him.  I had many moments where I told myself "If only I could have my students read this!"  So very good.
