Book of the Month

So as those of you who have read know, I try to read one book a month.  This year I have been a little sidetracked.  I started about 5 books and have yet to finish any of those I started at the beginning of the year.  I did finish a different one last week.  It does not really meet my criteria because it is a book I have read before, but I needed a world to escape into and so I picked up Harry Potter 7.  I have not read it in a while, since right after it came out in 2007, so it was good to revisit it.  I love reading Harry Potter, the plots are easy to be entertained by and it just goes by so fast.  So overall my opinion has not changed on it since the first time I read it.  A good ending to a great series.  I also started another book loaned to me by one of my best friends.  It is called Believing Christ by Steven Robinson.  This is a religious book and so far have found it to be very engrossing.  I love learning about Jesus Christ.  This book takes a different perspective on Jesus Christ and belief.  I do not usually share religion on my blog, but I feel that this is appropriate.  The book discusses how I need to not just believe in Christ but to Believe Christ, believe his teachings and doctrines.  That they apply to me and my life.  So far, it is very good.  I can not believe I have never read this book before, but then again I did have Steven Robinson as a teacher for only one day in college before I switched classes.
