Well, it has been a while since I last wrote. Life has been busy this summer. Somehow I always seem to manage to fill my time with a whole lot of stuff that ultimately leaves me asking where did the time go. I have hung out with friends, family, made a trip to Florida, spent a week in Park City, camped, hiked, kayaked, made friends with a harbor seal, worked on a quilt, made some stained glass, took in a mariners game, ate great food, saw Minus the Bear and the list could go on. I love summer, time to recharge my batteries before another year. I love being in Seattle with my family and friends. Ill post some pictures soon!
As for my book of the month, one of my favorite authors released a book this last tuesday and I tried to drag it out for a while but of course, once I really sat down with it, I blazed through it pretty quickly. In my opinion, not his best but for sure up near the top. Daniel Silva's The Rembrandt Affair was a quick paced, wonderful world to get lost in for a while. I loved that this book went back to what I loved about the earlier ones in the series but still connected to the world today. Holocaust, Art and Iran. So good. If anyone likes espionage books, read this.
