Here's to the music

I know most of you who read this blog, which are few, know that I use music to describe my moods, whims, ideas etc. Everything and every moment in my life seems to be defined by a song. I am sitting here on a Friday night listening to some amazing music that describes this moment perfectly.

Sometimes you find a song that matches your mood to a T and you can officially say for that one brief, split second moment that you have found the music that defines your soul. This usually only happens when I am listening to very chill music, music that might be described as melancholy. I was watching an episode of Bones tonight and on it one of the guys made a melancholy mix. How many times have I done that before. I have the "I wear my heart on my music" Mix, my "Going to Bed Mix" my "Love" mix, my "Reading" mix, my "I feel like a good old cry" mix. Why is it that I connect with music when times are emotional. Maybe because they never write songs about the things that come easy. Here's to a life of wonderful moments where music and soul collide when love and sorrow are found. We can't know the good without the bad. And right now I am deciding where my life lies, maybe in the good. No definitely in the good.
