Life and a little cereal on the side

Now if you know me, I don't really sit down and eat breakfast in the morning. I rarely have cereal or big breakfasts, though I love them when I do. So this past weekend I went snowshoeing with a few friends for the first of many trips this winter. I recently bought my own pair of snowshoes and had waited expectantly to try them out. I drove up the canyon got out my red hat and put the shoes on. What a rush, being out and experiencing nature. At one point I was behind the rest of the group engulfed in trees and white with no sound, I mean silent and still. So amazing, so refreshing. Now I love the convinces of life (aka heat etc.) but sometimes I crave that little bit of cereal on the side to really make my day fly. Here's to a winter full of bowls of cereal!
