Book of the Month

So I managed to tackle a really big book for the month of August.  I picked Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.  I was not intimidated by the 973 pages.  I did finish only yesterday, so technically I did not finish in August, but I figured since it was so long, taking a few extra days would not hurt.  I liked the story but I had to skip some parts of the book.  The story takes place in the Middle Ages and was very informative concerning what life was like at that time.  Compelling, easy to read and in the end all the bad guys got what they deserved!
