A little dancing lesson

I thought when I got on here, I would have a lot to write about.  That does not seem to be the case since my mind just went blank.  I am streaming the new Vampire Weekend album on NPR.  So far, pretty cool.  It is happy music.  Good vibes, good sound.  So here is a funny story from today.  I was in my 8th period class playing a medieval song for their journal.  They told me it sounded like dance music and asked me if I would do a dance for them.  I did a little version of irish dancing, very funny but hey if it gets the kids involved and wanting to talk about the music, I don't care about making a fool of myself.  I hope that they learn a little more from this experience than just that I am a horrid dancer, but that they need to be okay with who they are.  Like themselves and not worry what other people think about them.  It took me a long time to get to that point, and I still struggle a little with it, but I know who I am and I love it!
