Yesterday I got to see one of my favorite bands, The Decemberists. They were awesome, no words can describe. I took my friend Will with me and we rocked out. This was a very special concert because it is the Hazards of Love tour as I have dubbed it. After great sets from Blind Pilot and Andrew Bird in all his whistling glory, The Decemberists +2 stepped on the stage to rousing cheers. After only one song I was on my feet and up in the thick of the throngs. Well not really the thick, but still close. It took only the first note of the Prelude from Hazards of Love to make my heart and mind blow. The Decemberists weaved, flowed and made music to infuse my soul as they played in its entirety "The Hazards of Love". Then after they finished they came back on to play some old favorites. Well worth the wait, well worth the money, well worth the time. Life is all about experiences, and this is one that I will not soon forget.
