So this past weekend I went to an amazing show by a band out of Portland, Or called Blitzen Trapper. At the show I was greatly inspired by what I call a progressive, multi song movement with some Dredg-esque lyrics. Now no one else might have seen what I saw or better yet heard what I heard but I don't really care. I was inspired to go home and continue to search out that music that is out of the mainstream, sift through some crappy, ear hurting music until I find those gems. I see these websites that will post anything and everything about music and take them as an inspiration to create a discerning ear to find good music for my life. Music that inspires me, music that makes me happy!
